USD Coin (USDC) is Circle's dollar-pegged stablecoin, and functionally it plays the same bankroll-stability role as USDT: your stake and your winnings track the US dollar rather than a volatile coin's price.
The main reason some players prefer it is Circle's more frequent, publicly published reserve attestations compared to Tether's disclosure history — a genuine difference in transparency, though both are still centralized-issuer tokens carrying counterparty risk rather than being fully decentralized. USDC support at crash-game casinos is real but narrower than USDT's near-universal availability; check a specific casino's coin list before assuming it's supported.
USDC is available on Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon among other chains, so the same network-selection care that applies to USDT applies here too.
